A Rihanna rumor is just for kicks, at Puma pop-up site

Rihanna headed into a New York recording studio early Friday morning with stunning red tresses.

Freeloaders looking to cash in on free drinks and sticky rice treats got a pleasant surprise at Puma’s pop-up party on the Lower East side when the athletic brand set up a “sneaker bar” where workers handed out free kicks to the first 150 guests. A rumor started to spread that the handouts were from the new line Rihanna is creating for the company, which Confidenti@l first reported in November. Alas, organizers said RiRi’s sneaker line is still in the works.

CLOTHES ROBBERS GOT MOORE

Demi Moore has a lot less clothing now. The “Ghost” star had $ 200,000 worth of clothing nabbed from her Hollywood storage unit this week, according to TMZ. The gossip site reports the thieves targeted “high-end, and in some cases, irreplaceable” items belonging to Moore. The report says it’s unclear how long the items have been missing as the actress hadn’t checked out the storage unit in the past six months.

CELEBS DO A GOOD DINNER

Philanthropists are chowing down all around town to help the homeless. Sarah Jessica Parker, Tamron Hall and Jason Wu will attend Monday’s Win charity dinner gala at the Waldorf Astoria, which aims to find shelter for displaces mothers and children. And before the weekend got underway, the Doe Fund did a foodie fund-raiser for the homeless at the Bowery Hotel, which was attended by “Orange is the New Black” stars Dascha Polanco, Catherine Curtin and Kimiko Glenn.

PEE WEE FINDS LIBERTY AT LAST

Paul Reubens headed downtown to film his new Pee Wee movie, shooting a kissing scene with Alia Shawkat in a horse carriage. Later, Reubens posed with a patriotically dressed director John Lee, as the Statue of Liberty, for the “Pee-Wee’s Big Holiday.” Duh. Now tell us something we don’t know.

INDIGO ON THE GO

Indigo Girl fans are a little closer to fine today. The folk-rock duo will perform Saturday night at Webster Hall to salute the Survivor Mitzvah Project’s Stars Come Out for Survival gala. Tickets are $ 60 and expected guests include screen and stage stars Valerie Harper, Zane Buzby, Charles Grodin and Ron Rifkin.

TEIGEN STEPS UP

While John Legend was speaking at NYU, wife Chrissy Teigen strolled into the Raye show launch in L.A.
