Giancarlo Stanton hits home run out of Dodger Stadium

Giancarlo Stanton continues to serve as a human launchpad for baseballs. On Tuesday, he became the fourth player to hit a home run outside Dodger Stadium.

The Marlins’ right fielder blasted an 84 mph pitch off Dodgers starter Mike Bolsinger in the first inning, landing beyond the left field pavilion. The home run traveled an estimated 467 feet, according to ESPN Stats and Info.

Stanton joins Mike Piazza, Mark McGwire and Willie Stargell as the only players to hit a ball out of Dodgers Stadium. Stargell accomplished the feat twice.
