Singer Sam Smith posted this Instagram shot after his Louisville, Ky., concert was interrupted by severe weather Friday night. “You were so loud the heavens opened haha,” he wrote “Gutted. But I do feel like Dorothy.”

Sam Smith’s electric voice couldn’t compete with a powerful thunderstorm.

The Grammy-winning singer, coming off May vocal cord surgery, had his concert in Louisville, Ky., halted mid-performance at the city’s open-air Waterfront Park when severe storms rolled through Friday night.

“Louisville!!!!!! The drama is real right now!!” Smith wrote on Instagram, along with a downcast photo of him frowning.

Concert-goers ran from the venue at the sight of heavy wind gusts blowing dust clouds their way, WDRB reported.

“Sam Smith show blew me away,” Steve Wood wrote on Twitter, along with a video clip of gusts blowing through. The airport registered 60 mph winds.

Smith, whose voice sounded pitch-perfect to fans, was stopped in the middle of “Lay Me Down” and the park evacuated.

“Literally In the middle of Lay Me Down there was an electrical storm and I had to be taken off stage and the whole festival had to evacuate,” Smith wrote. “This KILLS me, because you guys were SO loud and incredible!!!!!!!! You were so loud the heavens opened haha. Gutted. But I do feel like Dorothy.”

Smith is one of the headliners at three-day art and music Forecastle Festival.

“Due to high winds & heavy rain, we are evacuating the entire Forecastle site,” festival organizers tweeted. “Please exit safely & calmly and seek immediate shelter.”

Downed trees and power outages have been reported in the Louisville area, according to WDRB.

It just wasn’t the crooner’s day. Smith also told his fans that his bandaged left hand was the result of a Segway accident earlier Friday.

“I fell off a f—— Segway thing today and I think I’ve sprained my hand,” he wrote. “Got this s— on ICE right now. Kills.”
