Taylor Swift donates $50G to young fan battling cancer

Taylor Swift is at it again.

An 11-year-old Arizona girl battling leukemia was left frozen in her place when surprised with not only a message signed by her pop star hero, but a whopping $ 50,000 donation toward her medical expenses.

The emotional moment, captured entirely on video, followed Naomi Oakes’ June 25 diagnosis which would prevent her from attending Swift’s upcoming concert in Phoenix while hospitalized for the next six to nine months.

Naomi’s father posted a YouTube video in response, showing his daughter dancing and singing along to Swift’s “Bad Blood” single — Naomi’s so-called fight song — in hopes the swinger would share a #TeamNaomi photo on Instagram.

Swift apparently saw it, and went one huge step beyond that.

“To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts,” the note, posted to the girl’s GoFundMe account Tuesday, read. “Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”

Video capturing Naomi’s reaction to the post shows her gasping in surprise before breaking out into giggles.

“I can barely breathe,” she says while staring at the electronic message from her hospital bed. “I seriously think I’m going to pass out right now.”

“Good thing we checked vitals already,” someone says in the background amid laughter in the room.

Naomi’s GoFundMe page had been hoping to raise $ 30,000 to cover her estimated medical costs over the next several months. With Swift’s donation they’re now more than $ 30,000 over that goal.

Last month the 25-year-old donated $ 15,000 to help the family of a Texas volunteer firefighter pay for their medical bills after an accident.

She also made news after reaching out to another 12-year-old girl battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in Illinois last April.
