Singin’ in the Rain” star Debbie Reynolds will soon be sellin’ in the bookstores. On Nov. 10, the 83-year-old singer, dancer and author releases her “Make ‘Em Laugh” tell-all, and among its highlights are a look at Hollywood’s biggest playboys, including Milton Berle.

According to Reynolds, Berle would throw fancy parties and hire Scotty Bowers, a Hollywood party boy known for being well-endowed, to walk around with his man-parts on a silver tray surrounded by parsley and hors d’oeuvres. Berle would then laugh as guests casually picked at Bowers snack tray before finally realizing “they weren’t holding an actual sausage.”

Reynolds also says Bob Hope was a notorious womanizer who once introduced her to his girlfriend du jour while his wife Delores was only a few feet away.

She also counts Desi Arnaz, the husband of her good friend Lucille Ball, among Tinsel Town’s famous cads.

“He was a charmer when he was sober, but when he drank it was all over,” writes Reynolds. She says that Desi loved Lucy, but he also loved the nightlife.

According to Reynolds, Arnaz would stay out all night and Ball would call her asking if he was with her. Reynolds says she once had to assure Ball that she hadn’t seen her missing hubby and that the worried red head could rest assured that she would never sleep with Arnaz.

Ball told Reynolds that she knew that, but figured she’d ask anyway.

“I took a chance,” Ball supposedly confessed.
