The Joe D Show: 19th annual FringeNYC

Fringe binge, anyone?

The 19th annual New York International Fringe Festival launches its 16-day, 200-show theaterpalooza on Aug. 14.

As always, it’s a eclectic buffet of theater.

Think: serious dramas like “Lincoln’s Blood,” noir-y farces like “Reading Between the Lies,” climate-change works like “An Inconvenient Poop” and monster musicals with exclamation points in the title like “Beware the Chupacabra!”

Artistic director Elena K. Holy talks about Fringe at 19, trends (bios are big), the legacy of “Urinetown” and the new “What’s Your FringeNYC Quiz” to help you pick shows you’re apt to enjoy.

Hey, you want to spend $ 18 a ticket wisely.
